Recent developments
• World leader in insurance Delta Lloyd no longer covers product liability for cell phones because of the radiation hazard.
• Some Dutch and British retailers in electronics no longer sell cell phones developed especially for children.
• In Great Britain and in the U.S.A. several claims have been awarded to people suffering from brain disorders due to the use of a cell phone.
• In Sweden government recommends using a cell phone by means of a headset only, because of the danger of radiation.
• In the Netherlands, the Board of Health recommends a maximum level of radiation of 0,08 SAR (units of electromagnetic radiation). All cell phones exceed this level by an average of 10 times and some phones even by 30 times.
• Several Dutch companies have already purchased SAR Shield to protect their employees.
In Essen, Germany, a test has been conducted with rats being exposed for six months to the radiation of a cell phone for five minutes several times a day. In the cross-sections shown below it is clear that the brain cross-section at the right shows tumours, and that the shape and volume of the brain have changed.
